Refund Policy
Overview
We want you to be confident using ClipHarvest. We charge only for successful processing, and we stand behind that commitment. This policy explains exactly when and how you can get a refund.
Automatic Refunds — No Highlights Detected
If processing completes successfully but no highlight segments were detected in your video, you will receive an automatic full refund to your original payment method. This refund is issued automatically within 7 business days via Stripe without requiring any action from you. You will receive a refund confirmation to the email address associated with your Stripe payment.
This applies to pay-per-use purchases only. Free tier jobs are not charged and therefore not eligible for refunds.
Manual Refunds — Processing Failures
If a processing error occurs on our end (server crash, infrastructure failure, or any non-user-caused failure) and your job status is "failed", you are eligible for a full refund. To request a manual refund:
- Email support@clipharvest.io within 24 hours of payment.
- Include your job ID (shown in the URL on the status page).
- We will review and issue the refund within 3 business days if the failure was on our side.
No Refunds — Successful Processing
We do not issue refunds when:
- Processing completed and a highlights file was produced, even if you are unsatisfied with the number or quality of segments detected. Detection accuracy varies by content type and this limitation is disclosed before purchase.
- You uploaded content that turned out to be unsupported or corrupted. Please verify your file plays correctly before uploading.
- You changed your mind after processing began.
- More than 24 hours have elapsed since payment for a failed job (beyond the request window).
Refund Processing Time
Automatic refunds are issued within 7 business days. Manual refunds are issued within 3 business days of approval. Once issued via Stripe, the time for funds to appear on your statement depends on your bank (typically 3-10 business days).
