Upload any long video. Our engine scans every frame and extracts only the interesting moments. No editing skills, no manual scrubbing, no guesswork.
Drop your video file — MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, or WebM. Up to 5GB per file. No account needed.
Our engine scans every frame for motion spikes, scene changes, and activity peaks. No manual tagging needed.
Get a single video with only the highlights, losslessly extracted. Original quality preserved, timestamps included.
ClipHarvest returns a single concatenated MP4 file containing only the moments worth watching. You also see:
Turn 8-hour VODs into shareable clips. Stop manually scrubbing for the good moments — upload the stream and download the reel.
Extract action sequences from full-game recordings. Identify key plays automatically from hours of raw match footage.
Cut hours of quiet footage down to motion events. Review only the moments where something actually happened.
From conferences to weddings, extract the meaningful moments from long-running recordings without watching the whole thing.

A 90-minute video costs $2. A 3.5-hour video costs $4.
For regular, high-volume use
MP4, MKV, AVI, MOV, WebM, TS, and FLV. If you have footage in another container, convert it to MP4 first using a free tool like HandBrake — the original quality will be preserved.
Free tier: videos up to 10 minutes long. Pay-per-use: up to 5GB per file. If your file is larger, split it into segments first or contact support to discuss options.
Processing typically takes 1-3x the video duration depending on resolution and detection mode. A 1-hour HD video usually finishes in 30-90 minutes. You can close the browser — if you provide an email, we'll notify you when it's done.
Accuracy depends heavily on content type. Motion-heavy content (sports, gaming, action scenes) detects very well — typically 90%+ of real highlights are captured. Static or slow-paced content may produce fewer segments. The "auto" mode combines two algorithms for the best general-purpose results.
Your uploaded video and the extracted highlights file are automatically deleted 7 days after processing completes. Orphaned files (uploads that never finished) are cleaned up within 24 hours. We do not retain your video data beyond these windows.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. You're charged per whole hour of input video (rounded up) immediately before processing begins. A 75-minute video costs $2 (2 hours billed).
If processing completes but no highlights were detected, you get an automatic refund. If processing fails due to a server error, email support@clipharvest.io within 24 hours for a manual refund. See the full Refund Policy.
Yes. You retain full ownership of your uploaded content and the extracted output. You must have the rights to process the video you upload — do not upload content that belongs to someone else without permission.
The default "auto" mode combines two algorithms: frame-to-frame motion energy (pixel difference between consecutive frames) and histogram-based scene change detection (measuring color/luminance shifts). Both algorithms self-calibrate thresholds by sampling the video before scanning. Segments with sustained activity above the calibrated threshold are extracted with configurable padding.
API access is planned as part of the Pro tier (coming soon). In the meantime, contact support@clipharvest.io if you have a high-volume batch use case to discuss options.
